Wairarapa Boarding Kennels is a family owned and operated dog boarding kennel based in the eastern hills in Masterton. Our state of the art facilities provide a safe long or short-term pet boarding facility to customers all over the Wairarapa area. We understand that your pets safety and wellbeing is important to you so we welcome you to pre inspect our facilities before your loved family member stays with us, please contact us to arrange a suitable time.

Masterton Pickup

We can safely pick-up your dog from Masterton in our purpose built dog trailer. Each dog is separately transported to our facility in it's own spacious vented berth.‍

Wairarapa Boarding Kennels Facilities

At Wairarapa Boarding Kennels your dogs welfare and happiness is our top priority, which is why we have constructed our facility to a high standard.‍
  • Buildings constructed from NZ made PIR panel which has fire retardant insulation built in.
  • Air Conditioned/heated insulated buildings with double glazing.
  • Untreated Macrocarpa flooring in outside runs so dogs are not exposed to CCA treated
    timber.
  • Fencing around the facility and where dogs are free running at least 1.9m high.
  • Inside pens, outside runs and yards at least 1.8m high.
  • Privacy screening between inside pens and outside runs so dogs can’t see or reach each
    other.
